Dear Lottery — what it is, which states & how to check

Dear Lottery is the ticket brand of the Nagaland State Lottery (drawn 1 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM) plus Sikkim's 6 PM Dear draw — ₹1 crore 1st prize, ₹6 ticket.

Dear Lottery is the brand printed on Nagaland State Lottery tickets — the same draws people call "Lottery Sambad". Nagaland holds three Dear draws every day (Dear Morning 1 PM, Dear Evening 6 PM, Dear Night 8 PM), and Sikkim runs its own Dear draw at 6 PM. Each carries a ₹1 crore 1st prize on a ₹6 ticket. This page explains how Dear works and links you to today's live result for every Dear draw — it isn't itself a result page.

Is Dear Lottery the same as Lottery Sambad?

Yes — they are the same thing. "Lottery Sambad" is the widely-used name for the daily Nagaland result; the printed ticket brand is "Dear" (Dear Morning, Dear Evening, Dear Night). So a search for "Dear Lottery result" and "Lottery Sambad result" lands on the identical Nagaland draws at 1 PM, 6 PM and 8 PM. The brand on the ticket also rotates by day of week — e.g. Dear Vision Saturday, Dear Lucky Saturday Night — but the prize structure (₹1 crore down to ₹120) stays the same.

How to check a Dear Lottery ticket

  1. Identify your draw — read the draw name, time and date printed on the ticket (e.g. "Dear Evening 6:00 PM").
  2. Open that draw's result from the table above.
  3. Match your number — the full series + 6 digits for the 1st/2nd prizes; the last 4–5 digits for the lower tiers. Use the ticket checker on the result page.
  4. Cross-check the official PDF before claiming — the Directorate sheet is the only legal record.

Dear Lottery — common questions

What is Dear Lottery?

Dear Lottery is the brand name printed on the Nagaland State Lottery tickets. The Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries, Kohima, runs three Dear draws every day — Dear Morning at 1 PM, Dear Evening at 6 PM, and Dear Night at 8 PM — each with a ₹1 crore 1st prize on a ₹6 ticket.

Is Dear Lottery the same as Lottery Sambad?

Yes. "Lottery Sambad" is the popular name for the daily result; the tickets themselves are branded "Dear". They are the same Nagaland State Lottery draws at 1 PM, 6 PM and 8 PM.

Which states run a Dear Lottery?

Two: Nagaland runs three Dear draws daily (1 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM), and Sikkim runs a 6 PM Dear draw. Both pay a ₹1 crore 1st prize. A Nagaland ticket can only win in a Nagaland draw, and a Sikkim ticket only in the Sikkim draw.

What are the Dear Lottery draw times?

Nagaland Dear is drawn at 1:00 PM (Morning), 6:00 PM (Evening) and 8:00 PM (Night) IST, every day. Sikkim Dear is drawn at 6:00 PM. The official PDF is published a few minutes after each draw; we mirror it within about 60 seconds.

How do I check a Dear Lottery ticket?

Match your full number (a 2–3 character series plus a 6-digit number) against the result for that exact draw and date. Open the relevant result page above, use the ticket checker, then confirm any win against the official Directorate PDF before claiming.

How long do I have to claim a Dear Lottery prize?

Sign the back of the winning ticket and submit it within 30 days of the draw, with KYC (PAN, ID, address proof), to the issuing state Directorate (Nagaland in Kohima, Sikkim in Gangtok). Prizes above ₹10,000 attract 30% TDS under Section 194B.
